This week, Dell OEM Solutions announced its customer, Kemp Technologies, launched its load-balancing controller solution based on Dell’s PowerEdge R320 servers.
The purpose-built LoadMaster™ server helps medium-to-large enterprises ensure high availability and reliability of web-based, business-critical applications — espcially Internet and intranet traffic. KEMP’s IP gives data center end users (IT admin) greater control to adapt to network changes and enable the best network and infrastructure performance.
KEMP is leveraging several Dell OEM Solutions’ capabilities to maximize their investment and optimize the end-user experience. These include: the Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC); Lifecycle Controller (in the Dell PowerEdge server), which allow users to manage and monitor the LoadMaster R320 and Dell application servers through a common enterprise management platform.
Finally, customers can easily track and receive alerts about hardware issues, perform remote
management and minimize the need for physical access to the appliance through out-of-band management, LoadMaster recovery options, user and role-based access, and basic integration with Dell Open Manage Essentials.
The solution illustrates the unique technologies OEM Solutions brings to market leveraging customer IP and Dell hardware, software and services.
