Updated. Our booth number has changed to stand 2A81.
It’s that time again when our Dell Telecom team sets their sights on Mobile World Congress 2014. Over 70,000 mobile professionals attend MWC to showcase and learn about the latest cutting edge telecommunications tech. Companies are showing and demonstrating solutions and gear aimed at all corners of the ICT market, from personal devices to core network platforms. This is where the Dell Telecom team has been focusing for the last several years. Come see us in Hall2: Stand 2L10
Our dedicated technologies and resources can be used in almost any ICT solution. This puts us in a good position to help develop comprehensive ecosystems and solutions that provide value beyond the sum of their components. We have built up a Telecom Solutions Ecosystem including Intel, Red Hat, Emerson Embedded Computing, Artesyn Embedded Technologies, Napatech, 6Wind, Qosmos, Fusion IO, Wind River, Sandvine, ANTlabs, Procera, and more.
We were instrumental in driving adoption of standard platforms (COTS) in other markets and we are now applying that expertise to the ICT market through partners, OEM customers, and peers. We recently launched a case study with Aculab where we helped them drive growth of their telco gateway with our NEBS certified OEM solution.
We are leading the charge in Software Defined Networks (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) solutions. I’ve blogged around challenges and partner solutions as well as presenting on webinars and at conferences. Most recently Dell OEM Solutions brought the TIA CTO Council to Austin for a meeting discussing NFV and Spectrum Sharing. I am thrilled to officially announce we now have a dedicated NFV subject matter expert, Marcel Moelands who will be driving the conversation around NFV for us.
We are driving lots of exciting and positive changes in telecom and Dell.
I look forward to meeting with you in Barcelona!
During the event:
You can stop by the Dell Booth – Hall2, Stall stand 2A81 to view our SonicWall firewall solutions, amazing Dell Tablets, and new NEBS Level-3 servers. We will also have seating and coffee to relax and recharge.
Dell is also included in the Intel’s booth with Cyan and Red Hat of NFV solution. We have been demonstrating NFV solutions with incredible performance at events around the globe, including IDF 2013 in the SDI Community.
As a thank you to our customers, on Tuesday, 25 Februray, Dell and Red Hat are hosting a customer appreciation event. We look forward to an enjoyable night of networking and nibbles.
We can’t share all the details with you now, but look for some exciting announcements with our partners Red Hat and Intel on our blog and twitter account @DellOEM #Dell4Telco.
