Why First Article

The title for our blog, First Article, refers to very first production run of a custom designed device which is sent to the OEM customer for validation of the manufacturing and integration process. The “First Article” is the initial consummation of the relationship between an OEM Supplier and an OEM Customer as they begin working together on a new project.

FIRST ARTICLE = The first finished product that goes under review of all standards and guidelines (Assembly Instructions, BOM, etc…)
